Christmas Presents
This is a picture of my best friend Bom at site. He's a teacher at the local university and about a year older than me. In this picture we are teaching an English activity to some students
This is a picture of the girl that was given to me as a Christmas present this year at an English camp. Her name is Nam which means water in Thai. When they told me to open the box, on the stage, I thought it looked a little funny. In no way did I think there was a girl inside that would start dancing up on me...A Christmas I will never forget.

Yay Pictures!!! It's so good to see pictures of you. The last I saw were the ones your mom showed me and Amber. It'll be nice to see the pictures with the stories of the day. Miss you like crazy. I'm working on creating a blog. Actually I created it, but have not posted anything. I'll keep you updated! Love ya, Shan
Hallo Wesley,
das sind tolle Fotos!!!
Reading about your everyday life
in Thailand has already been
really exciting.
Being able to even see
the pictures to your stories
and impressions now is wonderful!
I love the "Scorpion slayer" one:
very manly,
impressing fighting posture
but you should polish up your sword
a little bit so that it looks
more chivalrous ;o)
I can't wait to see more pictures
and by the way
your cat is sooo beautiful!
I'm thinking about creating
a blog about my experiences
in Munich too, now that I saw
what a wonderful idea this is.
This way you can see what
my current life looks like.
I miss you Hon,
Love,
Julia
Wes, I am so glad you are blogging! Also I love Julia's comment about you manly scorpian slaying!
Interesting Christmas party. Reminds me of something you would see on Seinfeld where Jerry would give Kramer the ultimate Christmas present and George would be upset because he didn't get a great present like that also. Oh well!!!
Nice to see that they all have a great sense of humor. Nam looks like a fun loving lady and enjoyed the surprise as well. The only time you see that over hear is at a groom's bachelor party.
The only time I can remember having such a surprise jump out of a box was when I was about three or maybe four when someone turned the crank on my pop goes the weazle toy.
